They're comin in from all over!

Just wanted to do a quick post to put up this picture of Mel from Iowa. He is spending two weeks with us in his camper. He has been out on the lake everyday and has limited out most every day. I managed to catch him at the fish cleaning station to get a pic. He said if I had been a little sooner I would have been able to some pics of the bigger ones he caught. These two here are the smallest catches of the day! Not to shabby!

He'll be heading home next week with enough walleye to last him until he comes back next year!

A Beautiful Weekend

The weather was just fantastic last weekend! The group that came in for the white bass ended up just finding themselves a nice spot close to the campground and they did pretty well. The leader of the group said he hit 30 during the 8 hours he spent out there. They were just throwing back what they caught but they all had a blast. Hopefully they will be coming up next year!

This weekend is looking pretty good too. i got a group of guys coming up to stay in one of our mobile homes. They have four weekends in a row reserved. I wish I had enough time to get away like that!

I have one more new pic for you all. This one is from one of our seasonal campers here who wanted to commemorate the first walleye he cleaned in our fish cleaning station. He limited out and said he was going head out later in the day for some smallmouth.

That's all for now! I got a bunch of guys in today heading out on a charter so hopefully I'll have some good news and pics for you all tomorrow!

White Bass Run

This weekend is going to be a good one for white bass. There is a father/son fishing trip coming up to head over to Fremont and get in on the white bass run. The forecast right now is calling for a 30% chance of rain on Friday but I am hoping that will pass us by and we can have clear sky's all weekend.

On another note I was able to get out yesterday for a few hours. I just did some bank fishing on the Sandusky river but I managed to catch about 7 catfish. Unfortunately they were all about 4 inches long. Now that I think about it, it may just have been the same fish 7 times. Oh well, I was just glad to be out there!

Well, I get the updated Lake Erie Fishing Report tomorrow so hopefully I will have some good news to post!
